Palliative care offers relief from symptoms, decreases stress, and improves quality of life for pets that are working through a major illness. Palliative care does not aim to cure, but to provide comfort and extra support during times of illness.

Hospice care can be a great way to maintain or increase quality of life for patients with a terminal illness. Hospice shifts the focus to patient comfort and increasing joy near the end of an animal's life. Almost all treatments are given in the familiar space of your home.
